From a quick hit source, Montreal believes they are one Power Play Co-QB away from being real contenders from the Cup, and they are asking for Filip Kuba. At least 4 other teams are also interested in him, and all of the teams are contenders. Montreal is offering a forward, likely Guillaume Latendresse and a draft pick, either and 2nd rounder or 3rd rouder.

Latendrese(with 15 points so far) if on a career year pace. He has also been a physical force this year, as seen in the 4-0 loss to the Habs earlier this year. I think this trade would work well and be a good start to what looks like a rebuilding phase.
