Not waiting for GM Bryan Murray to do anything, Hartsburg has made some changes in his lineup in time for tonight's game against the Lightning. The Sens have called up Brian Lee and Ilya Zubov from Bingo. Brian Lee will replace the injured Anton Volchenkov on the lineup, which is a bit of a shocker because Brendan Bell was available, but it looks like he'll be a healthy scratch for a 2nd straight game. Ilya Zubov has been amazing in Bingo this year and already has some NHL experience with 5 games under his belt. But who will he replace?
Martin Gerber gets the start tonight, and it's probably an effort to rest Auld, as he looked fatigued last night against the Capitals. Gerber played well on Wednesday against the Hawks, only allowing 1 goal in a 2-0 loss.
I can't believe I'm saying this when we are playing the league-worst team tonight, but the Sens need to get a win. They can't drop points with the half-pole coming closer. The Pizza Line needs to step it up a notch, and it wouldn't hurt if Antoine Vermette scored a goal, or maybe 5(knock on wood).
So I predict a 2-1 shootout loss to the Bolts(Fisher; Recchi, St.Louis SO winner) which tells us we suck in the shootout, we suck without the black jerseys, and the moustaches aren't working anymore.
Thanks For Reading and Enjoy The Game!!!
