Sens Trade Auld to Dallas

The Ottawa Senators have sent goaltender Alexander Auld to the Dallas Stars for a 6th round pick in the 2010 Draft. Bryan Murray has spent the last week trying to find Baldy Auldy a new home and finally find one in Dallas. Murray had discussed before July 1st of sending Auld and Louie Caporusso to the Blue Jackets for Kris Russell, however, Howson nixed the trade and got Mathieu Garon in Free Agency.

LeClaire-Elliott is now officially the tandem to start next year. Not surprising

Good for Auld, he'll get some more work in Dallas, plus they're a top notch organization.

Now how is BM going to find a home for two of our eight defensemen?

Hambown: Auld will work well with Turco in Dallas, I think.

Murray wants to have 7 defenseman for now on his team, and one of Picard and J.Smith wil be traded before training camp.
