The Sens will try to even out the season series against the Panthers tonight in South Florida. Game start is 7:30 PM. Florida is 1 point out of 8th place which is currently occupied by the ever relentless Canadiens. So it should be a bittersweet game tonight.
The lines will be the same from Sunday's win against the Bolts. I've heard Bryan Murray might not be at the game because of some guy named Tyler Bozak. According to the Ottawa Sun and SENS Town, Bozak's list is down to 5 and even though not every team in the list is mentioned, it's believed Ottawa, the only Canadian team on the short list, and Colorado(surprise surprise) are frontrunners. Bozak plays with Sens' prospect Patrick Wiercioch at Denver so I'm guessing he had to do with something in Bozak's decisions. Back to the game though. The Sens haven't played good at all this season against the Panthers. The Pizza line have scored most of the goals for Ottawa so expect Clouston to put his secondary guys like Foligno, Shannon, and Comrie out there more often. Florida is on their own streak, recently demising the Dallas Stars 6-3 with Cory Stillman, the ex-Sen scoring 2 goals. Jarkko Ruutu has also had a pleasant stay in Florida so far, so it should be interesting what he does to another coach. Brian Elliott will get the start in order to try for his 2nd straight win and shutout. Pete DeBoer will start Craig Anderson tonight, who has been absolutely stellar against Ottawa this season. Anyone reminded of the sick save on Vermette?
Panthers 4(Zednik, Bouwmeester, Ballard, Horton) Senators 2(Alfredsson, Foligno). Book it.
