Also read Sens Chirp for more info on this debacle

Today was the busiest day in a long time. Speaking to some close sources, Owner Eugene Melnyk is at his tipping point. I have heard Bryan Murray has 1 game left on his era as Senators GM, and unless he makes a huge trade before tomorrow's game in Boston, we will see a new General Manager. Reports from the Ottawa Citizen say that Steve Yzerman could replace Murray, which would be awesome.

However, this is unfair. The reason the Sens are losing is not due to management, but to the players. I do have to stress this is just a rumor and right now there is still a chance this will not happen, but it appears Eugene Melnyk will do anything to righten this ship.

Quick Update: It appears Filip Kuba could be traded at TD Day, with Montreal and Pittsburgh as frontrunners. I would expect Latendresse and a 2nd rounder from the Habs, and Dupuis and a 2nd rounder from the Pens.

Thanks For Reading!!!

EDIT: Could we see Bob Nicholson as GM insted of Yzerman? Should be interesting
