Out of all people to score the OT winner, the best ending was Jason Smith. He was left wide open on the right side of the ice, and buried it past Marty Turco to end the game.

Daniel Alfredsson, Antoine Vermette(FINALLY), Jason Spezza, Alexandre Picard, and Smith scored for the Sens, who scored 5 goals for the first time since who knows who. Offense prevailed in this game and this could be a good omen for the upcoming 8 game road streak the Sens know go on. Ilya Zubov got his second career NHL point with a nice pass to El Capitano. Filip Kuba continued his offensive dominance with 2 assists tonight, and Martin Gerber got 1 assist! Holy crap what has happened to the world!

Our defense hasn't been so good on the defensive front these past games, and they should tighten up if they want to find success in Western Canada.

Back to Gerber, he was a bit shaky tonight, he made one very good save on Loui Eriksson, but allowed some stoppable goals. Even the Dallas commentators were making fun of him. Of course, the commentators were talking about our political scene during the 2nd intermission.

Well, no rumours tonight so we can savour this win. Hope you guys have a good one, especially Sens fans!

Thanks For Reading!!!
