Jason Spezza turned up the heat today as he scored a hat-trick in the 2nd period, paving the way to a 3-2 Sens victory and leaving the black jerseys with an undefeated record.
The game really became physical after the 1st period, and Jarkko Ruutu was getting on the nerves of the Pens players. Chris Neil got in a fight with the taller Eric Godard and laid some pretty good hits. Even though the game-winner was a fluke, the Sens played with emotion and are back on track now. Now, they need to do one more thing, keep the freaking black jerseys. They're winning us games!
